The SkinScreen application programming interface (API) is a set of services offered to provide access to the SkinScreen artificial intelligence (AI) engine through either an API key or a Google service account key. The Google service account key is preferred because it is able to offer higher-level security and avoid key spoofing.The SkinScreen API is able to support both streaming and batch-processing in the detection and classification of skin lesions.
We will provide the corresponding API documentation and examples when you register for a key.
There is a monthly usage fee based on the hosted infrastructure for the SkinScreen AI engine.
Hosted on SkinScreen Infrastructure
If you wish to use the API on SkinScreen infrastructure please perform the following:
- contact us to obtain an API key or Google service account key
- read the details for your choice of API to get instructions for making Web Service calls
- integrate into your existing experience making sure you use the API key or Google service account key that was provided
- read the SkinScreen Terms of Service to make sure your integration adheres to the fine print.

Hosted on Your Infrastructure
The monthly license fee is $40,000 (USD) to have the engine hosted on your infrastructure. As part of this cost, software and security updates will be provided for each month the license remains active.
