About SkinScreen, LLC.

Formulated on May 30, 2019 in the state of Maryland, SkinScreen, LLC. is a small, technology services business that is applying sophisticated, unique solutions within the health care sector. Currently, we have created applications that leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to assist users in making preoperative decisions about skin lesions. Our tools are able to provide an accuracy and precision rate above 90% of identified skin lesions. As part of providing these high rates, 179,990 images were used in the training of our AI models. These high rates are a result of our passion about streamlining operations for the medical community and increasing productivity for the practice.

Our Story

Like many family units, various family members suffered from skin lesion issues. Until the 1980s, families were not too concerned with over exposure from the sun or environmental elements. Our family promoted a good burn to start the summer off, so you developed a nice tan. Sun tan lotion was never used, but rather baby oils or other creams which actually assisted in the skin burn. That all changed with education and information and unfortunately many biopsies later.

That frustration led to the inspiration for SkinScreen, LLC., a single solution to find trustworthy, secure technology that has vetted resources and methodology to support lesion classification and decision-making processes. And all of this is supported by analytical data. This is the first time that non-invasive analytical data is available to support both the patient and medical professional in decision making process for skin lesions.
